Lane of Old Rocheport Gravel Road to close temporarily for commercial filming

A portion of the eastbound lane of Old Rocheport Gravel Road will be closed for a few hours Tuesday evening for a commercial filming, according to a Wednesday news release from Boone County Resource Management.

The closure will take place from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and span between Highway BB and Route J, at the request of Chimaeric Motion Pictures.

The closure will specifically span the addresses 11525 through 11755 W. Old Rocheport Gravel Road.

Chimaeric Motion Pictures applied for a special permit granting the road closure to film a shot for a commercial, said Jeff McCann, chief engineer for Boone County Resource Management.

“Drivers will need to use caution and follow flagger instructions in the closure area,” McCann stated in the news release.

McCann said the closure should not disrupt traffic, as there should be a flagger on either end of the affected lane closure to direct traffic.
